The Florence Design Week, Design Festival scheduled May 24 to 29 in various locations in Florence provides a total of thirty events, distributed in 38 different places of the city where artists perform their work each day, divided into four categories: Visual and Graphic Design, Product and Interior Design, Fashion Design, Food and Music Design.
The program also includes daily exposure of young designers, roundtables, aperidesign from 18.00 to midnight Monday through Saturday, followed by television and radio facilities maintained by Media Partners, videos, interviews, and podcasts webcontent.
At the Galleria Tannaz during the two days of Meet the Designers are exposed Marmeled, the jelly lamps designed by Studio Semiki!

Halfway between research and play, an experimentation with materials, shapes and lights has begun to give substance to the idea of developing hand-crafted luminous objects with an industrial design.
JellyLamp is the name of a line of decorative lamps that takes inspiration from jelly, a material that has always been used in photography, theatre and cinematography to filter, modify and colour light.
JellyLamp is born from the union between coloured gel and alternative light sources, giving life to design lamps with unique style and the most unexpected shapes.
Unusual and ironic luminous objects, that mix materials and different styles, come to life to create a relaxing and playful atmosphere thanks to their coloured and diffuse light.
In the kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom… there is always a place for JellyLamp!
JellyLamp is a line of house lighting products conceived and designed by Laura Menichelli e Gianluca Ruocco Guadagno, alias Studio Semiki.
It is a project that was born from the willingness to express our ideas not only in graphic design and communication but also in product design.
Studio Semiki’s approach to design wants to be a transversal approach that deals with all the different disciplines involved in a whole project, from production to graphic design, with curiosity and enthusiasm. JellyLamp is just an example.
Is it a jar? A marmelade? Or a lamp?
Marmeled is a mix of all that. It is a lamp that blends hand-crafted and industrial objects, creating new lightening for interiors with a unique design.
Thanks to the transparency and the shine of the gel illuminated by a high-brightness led, Marmeled diffuses a softly coloured light, which is perfect for ironic relax.
It is a design lamp but each piece is hand-crafted on demand.
